ABC News Now is a live ABC news feed with a library of original news programming, including brand name shows, like 20/20, World News, Nightline, This Week, Primetime, and Good Morning America. In addition, featured segments are online, such as Good Money, Job Club, Top Line, What”s the Buzz, Now You Know, Popcorn, Moms Get Real, Nature”s Edge, Chef”s Table, and more.

For financial news, Bloomberg has live, free news feeds online for U.S., Europe, and Asia / Pacific. CNBC also has the same type of feeds online, but for a subscription.

CNN Live has multiple streams of their news feeds online. The multiple stream approach is particularly useful when the main CNN channel switches to something else, the online CNN continues to provide in depth coverage of the topic of interest.

MSNBC has brand shows online, such as TODAY, Nightly News, Meet the Press, Dateline, and more. In addition, categories of current news stories are available, such as Politics, Business, Sports, Entertainment, Health, Travel, and Weather.

For FOX News, segments are added 24×7, categorized by latest, hot topics, business, entertainment, health, sports, and opinion.

Local new stations are also available. A search on Spreety for “local” will lead to clickable maps to find local news sites.

Possibly most compelling about online news is direct news from the source. A perfect example is the White House website which streams the live press events.
