Adapting a web series for mainstream TV is fraught with challenges (i.e. Quarterlife), however, In the Motherhood may change the trend.
As a little history, the original web series was created by MindShare Entertainment in 2007, and the scripts were largely influenced by viewers submitting their own stories of motherhood.
ABC has adapted the concept and will launch the show at the end of March, while retaining the “Share Your Adventures” concept. Motherhood story submissions may be up to 250 words with an optional photo up to 400K. If your story is used, you may be thanked on the air.
